If I care for the person then yes. I don't think that you could say that you wouldn't date somebody just because they've struggled with depression and/or suicidal ideations in the past.





Feeling suicidal does not make you a bad person. If I loved them I would want to be there for them to comfort them when they feel sad.
Sure, why not? Just beware that there comes lots of baggage with this relationship. They are a person like anyone else, (don't we all have our own baggage?) but their issues could need a little more love and attention. So, if you are willing to invest the time and energy, you decide that you really like that person, and you feel physically safe with that person, go for it!
hell i am that individual, so yeah id date one to. i guess we could sit around comparing our life's battle wounds with one another
