Can anybody tell me an organization in North Carolina that will help get mentally ill people their meds.?

My daughter is Bi-polar and shes signed up for disability in the state of North Carolina and she is off her meds because she has no money to get them. Is there anybody or anyway she can get her meds before she snaps? I wished I could do it but I am disable too. Would really appreciate it if anybody could give me some advice. you can try asking the doctor they have information to help their patients with free meds---they can also give you free samples which they get to promote the medication--these are given by the medication manufactures. How about that program (commercial) with the bus and a spoke man---is or was a talk show host---Montal Williams and a lady saying that if it were not for this program she would not have her medication. Maybe someone here can give you the name of the program and the 1-800 number; can't recall the information; you might also get help with your meds so ask around or look for it on t.v. Best to you.

Each pharmaceutical company has a program for indigent people who need their medications. Type in the brand name of the medication into a search engine then look on the site for the program link for people who cannot afford their meds.
