If I was a betting man, I would say 50-1 on B.and C. This Blago deal

will be the Ghost to wonder over Obamas mind for the next 4 years.

Blago has got under Obamas skin, He can't get him out of the news

or the governors office fast enough, Dems don't have any damage

control on this one.How will Obama handle the seating of New Ill Senator,?
Obama has already spoken out against the appointment.

Here is his statement:

';Roland Burris is a good man and a fine public servant, but the Senate Democrats made it clear weeks ago that they cannot accept an appointment made by a governor who is accused of selling this very Senate seat. I agree with their decision, and it is extremely disappointing that Governor Blagojevich has chosen to ignore it.';
There isn't much he can do. Legally they have to seat the new Senator. Blago is still the Governor. He hasn't been convicted of anything. He was within the law, to do what he did. If Obama is the fair man, everyone says he is, he will do the right thing. It's not that guys fault, he just wants to be a Senator.
Below is a quote by President-elect Obama regarding this. Apparently, the Democratic Senate Leaders said weeks ago that they would not seat an appointment made by the Illinois Gov. since he was arrested on 12/9 for corruption charges and refuses to step down from his office.

';Roland Burris is a good man and a fine public servant, but the Senate Democrats made it clear weeks ago that they cannot accept an appointment made by a governor who is accused of selling this very Senate seat,'; Obama said in a statement. ';The best resolution would be for the governor to resign his office and allow a lawful and appropriate process of succession.';

It may be possible for The Senate to refuse to seat this appointment, by expelling him out after he is seated. It's a fine line of the law, but seems to be within the Constitution.

Obama is a very ';hands off'; kind of guy - Blago and Republicans are trying to put him into an uncomfortable position on this, but it's really not Obama's problem.

It's for the State Legislature to decide - not Obama.
E) Just like he will handle any other Senator nationwide.

You forgot ';E';, BRAIN.
Probably do nothing....His name is being thrown into a lot of this controversy so I would assume he would want to keep away from it if all possible.
He already said he didn't support the decision.
The president doesn't have anything to do with the appointing of senators.
He was quoted as stating he was disappointed with the appointment.
