Tomorrow ill be 3 months will i get my first doppler? i have a docs appointment?

i just wanted to know what u think.. i think i will... what do they do at normal visits? i hope they dont give me another pelvic exam like the 1st visit:(Tomorrow ill be 3 months will i get my first doppler? i have a docs appointment?
You won't have another pelvic until after 36 weeks, unless there is a problem like bleeding. At every appointment they will test your urine for proteins, take BP. Usually at 12 weeks they try hearing the babies heart beat by doppler. Don't be alarmed if they can't get it or if it takes a long time. Babies that little move, ALOT, and it can be really diffucult to detect. They will measure your belly and answer any questions you have. Well they are going to do a doppler every visit, draw lots of blood at first (not kidding) check your urine every visit,chk your weight,BP, oh yeah prescribe prenatal vitamins and they will make sure all your shots are up to date. They draw your blood to make sure you don't have any stds, sicklecell, diabetes things of that sort. It's only a one time thing. Im 5 months and this is what I have been through so far. Good luck!
you should hear the heartbeat at this time. at the visits you will give a urine sample, hear the heartbeat, answer any questions .. you won't get a pelvic exam until the last month of pregnancy to determine dilation, unless you are having problems before then. your next appointment or the next you will have to take a test for down syndrome and then near the end they check for hiv again
