Interesting that people that don't have your hair type are answering...what can they truly suggest? Nonetheless...





Your hair is growing. But like the majority of African Americans, their ends are not properly maintained. When hair is dry, it breaks off. How do you improve the situation (I don't say prevent, because hair or all types breaks off all the time, you can only try to reduce it). With most curly/coily hair, you have to add the needed moisture and conditioner (yes, oils help as well). As long as you keep your hair clean and moisturized you should be able to maintain your ends, and keep them from breaking off, thereby allowing yourself to actually notice that your hair is growing by witnessing it's length.

Hair products that I find work well are: Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil (Lotion and Creme), Creme of Nature, Carol's Daughter ( http://carolsdaughter.com ), and some others...essential hair oils (not a brand, but actual hair oils. Good quality hair oils include coconut, rosemary, jasmine, jojoba seed, olive, avacado, carrot oil and more). I agree with the post above, Wild Growth Hair oil is a good product. Try to avoid petroleum (often found in most ';greases';) that offer no true benefit, but only mae the hair strand appear shiny on the outside (thus making it appear healthy), but does not actually benefit the hair itself.





Just give the needed attention to the hair you do have, the ends. They need moisture and attention much more than your scalp (your scalp actually does not need much if any outside moisturizers since it already produces its own natural oils)

main and tail is great also try an oil called doo grow you can find it at walmart or family dollar it works the best for your hair type. I have a friend i told about this and after a year there hair grew about 4-6 inches
