it was obviously a mistake, and you must be having serious qualms about it. if it helps you, i would like to tell you that i too had eaten a mouldy piece of bread once, and it did not result in anything bad. mould that is present on cheese tempers it, and makes it delicious. penicillin is an extract that is got through the production of mould especially on a damp piece of bread. if you have any uneasiness regarding the same, you can take an antibiotic if it helps you, but as i had faced the same i dont think that it is going to trouble you. relax!


people have different immunity systems so i dont know how it may affect you, but if more than two hours have elapsed and you are fine, then dont worry about it but smell the roses and be happy that it dint affect you!!

You might get a bit of a dicky stomach, but it won't cause you long term damage as the bread wasn't too mouldly. Its kinda worrying that people are associating this kind of mould with the ones you find in penicillin or cheese. Its completely different strains of mould - the ones from these have been engineered to be harmless, the ones that grow on your bread are not good for you.

No it will do you no harm whatsoever, even if it didn't taste nice. Many medical treatments are derived from forms of mould.
Depends on the types of mould on the bread. But if you had to eat some bread with mould, toast it first and it should kill the mould and spores.

If you are a normal healthy person, then a little mould will not harm you.
If you only eat a small quantity of the mould, the gastric juices in your stomach should be sufficient to destroy anything liable to upset you - and at worst, it'll save you worrying about constipation for a day or two but you won't die from it ! ! !
