anyway, perhaps, when someone is extremely ill..most of the cases are that they couldnt do anything more for you coz simply there is no cure in this world suitable for you...

I don't know any where else but In the US, by laws, hospital can't refuse to treat someone extremely ill because they don't have any money. What they do is to collect all information about the patient and bills them later whether they can pay it or not. That would be something that the patient has to deal with.





If the patient can't pay the bill, the hospital will send them to collection agency and ruin their credit. That means, the patient will never be able to get credit to buy a house, a car or anything else that credit involves.
I never have that problem. I dont even forsee it happening to me ever.

go to gov. hospital ... private hospitals and clinics can refuse treatment with valid reasons such as no equiments, no registration, no money, no passport, no i/c, no woman no cry, no no no no don't phunk with my heart .. i dunno lah .. bye

i got a friend involved in an accident and being rush to the nearby private hospital. the hospital refuse as he has to pay a few thousands deposit and he has no insurance. but finally his family managed to pay the money





my advise is - take insurance
The government says 'hospitals must not refuse emergency treatments'. But I'm not sure whether a law has been implemented. Agree with Myra, we gotta sue to keep em straight !
Either that person is in chronic stage require specialist or plain ignorance.


Reminded me of the case, where there's a kid with high fever %26amp; etc. Got admitted to clinic thn. switch to hospital, still not recovering eventually died within the week. Because of ';poor medical supervision';.





I don't think ';private hosp./clinic'; will refuse to treat especially if you show them the money %26amp; of course if you're a human lah..if animal go vet lah. Dn't bcm lk my friend, bring his dog to the clinic doctor thn begging him to save it.
If you are refused treatment when you are extremely ill , because you don't have enough money, this is a criminal offence. You should complain to the authorities. There were situations, where in hospitals send people with AIDS etc away, which is also not acceptable.





But if some one has a terminal illness and the hospitals can't do anything to help them, they could send the patients home with appropriate help for pain relief etc.
