Seems by opinion that EVERYONE that gets cancer DESERVES sympathy, would the same apply to a disgusting man who pays for sex with little girls?

If Gary Glitter was terminally ill, then yes people would sympathise with him but they would never, ever, forgive him. I suppose most people would think well that's another paedophile out of the way, awful, but sadly it would be true.


It does not matter who they are, you would not wish cancer or any other terminal illness on anyone. I am not a fan of Gary Glitter or Jade Goody but would feel sympathy for a terminal illness. In Gary's case the sympathy would not last as long as it would be for Jade, she is one leaving 2 motherless children behind.
Why do some of you liberally decide who does and doesn't deserve cancer? As though it's regarded as a punishment for a life not well lived? I have no feelings about Jade Goody one way or the other, nothing she has done has touched my life. However I am watching my dad pass away painfully before my eyes with colon cancer that has now spread to his lungs. Does he deserve it? Is there a sliding scale of deservedness?


It makes me sick when I read 'they deserve it more than Jade' no-one deserves to waste away in pain, I know my dad doesn't, and I also know having Jade Goody in his face constantly hasn't helped. She isn't the only one facing a battle, she doesn't deserve cancer, my dad certainly doesn't, the truth is we're all going to know someone with cancer eventually, it might even be ourselves. It's an illness not a punishment
Perhaps he is no better than the mother that touted her own children as prostitutes long before Glitter arrived and probably still does now.





Since Vietnam's law enforcement is a nest of corruption then we will never know just how much the press conspired with the family for the story.





Personally,I think the world would be a better place if no one suffered a long painful death.Not even those with enough screws loose to wish such a fate upon others.

Jade was forgiven 'cause she apologised, but it just so happened that during her apology she was found to have cancer. If that hadn't happened, I think she still would have been forgiven for it.
So what you are saying is that she deserves cancer, and her children deserve to lose their mother because she has made some very stupid mistakes in the past?
