I'm 39 weeks pregnant and have flu virus. Will it delay onset of labour as worried too ill to cope?

i am in exactly the same boat as you.. its awful isnt it! but no, labour will not be delayed. a lot of women go into labour with flu-like symptoms anyway as it can be a sign of labour starting. best thing to do is to speak to ur midwife or doctor asap to see if there is anything they can give you to ease the symptoms. laura x
