I have accidently eaten a maggot that was in some cherries. What will happen?? Will I get ill??

there is a cheese that is made in some country -cant remember which country though.


they slice the top off and leave for a couple of months.flies start laying eggs in it and they hatch into maggots and they feed on it and make it all mushy and gooey inside.


people actually eat this with the maggots still in.....its a delicassy so dont worry!

Nothing will happen unless you follow it up with a fish hook and some line. I advise you not to. I did that by accident once and landed an 8lb Chubb quite unintentionally while walking to work.
Shouldn't be a problem. Your amino acids will destroy it. Chances are it was a wasp grub, which are not known for carrying diseases.
No the acids in your belly are so powerful it will kill all germs including the maggot....don't quote me on it tho!
