As many as you and me _let_ end up mentally ill,


and homeless.
No one could estimate a number but, from experience of past wars, we know there will be some that will be mentally ill and end up as homeless. From reports of the Iraq war, there have been many head injuries from the roadside bombs that will require long-term treatment. What a legacy! How sad that so many are life-long victims as a result of following orders and trying to be part of the solution!
We'll find out over the years, the real consequences of this War won't be known for another 10-20 years, or longer. I imagine anywhere from 10-35% of them will wind up either homeless or in prison for crimes.





Some of them may even become ';homegrown terrorists.'; Actually, I'm quite certain there will be at least a few ';homegrown terrorists'; after the government screws them out of their benefits,etc.
