Can a queen-sized bedskirt bed successfully placed on a full-sized bed? Or will it look ill-fitted?

Unfortunately they don't make the matching bedskirt in full-size, just queen-sized.

Hmmmm...Can a queen-sized bedskirt bed successfully placed on a full-sized bed? Or will it look ill-fitted?
It depends a little on the pattern. Will tucks and/or folds show? Do you have any sewing ability, to take it in a little?

If you're determined, I think you could make it work. It would be easier than trying to put a full-sized bedskirt on a queen bed. Good luck! Can a queen-sized bedskirt bed successfully placed on a full-sized bed? Or will it look ill-fitted?
If it is a gathered skirt, it will work if you tack the gathered seams in between each of the four corners, drawing the skirt up to the size of the ful size bed mattress. If it is a pleated skirt, it will not work. The length will stay the same, regardless of type, it is just the length and width you will need to adjust. If you pu the queen skirt on a full bed without making adjustments, it will be too wide and long, causing the part that is supposed to be hidden under the mattress to show, and making the skirt hem drag on the floor.
Yes you can...the height of either a queen or twin bed is the same...its just the part that goes under the mattress, on the boxspring that is bigger. At home stores (Linens and Things etc.) they sell these really great pins that twist into the mattress through the skirt.....they allow you to pin the bedskirt in place (so you could gather it up) position it exactly, and then put your mattress on top and it won't move! They are great!
In a perfect world it might work but since it's bigger it will most likely always be hanging wrong. Mattresses move, you make the bed...it will be a pain to keep it from overhanging.
You can do this easily - the bedskirt will pool on the floor, which makes it look more expensive and elegant.
