I feel for you. I had to decide whether to pull the plug for my mom as my step dad was a basket case and my brothers all looked to me. I found it easy enough to say enough is enough as she had gone through so much and she had told me months before that she couldn't go through another so called recovery process. Hope you feel okay, after a while. Time heals. Believe me.

I have to hope I would have tortured my Mom into giving me a living will before it ever became an issue. If it only prolonged her pain and she'd never get back to health without the tube, I'd deny its use. I love my Mom dearly, but I'd not keep her here past her time. There is a time to hang on and a time to let her go. I couldn't live with myself if she was a living vegetable just cause I refused to let her pass on.
I am so so sorry that you had to do this on your own. your mum was terminally ill and i dont think i would prolong her suffering by letting a doctor implant a feeding tube in her and deep down i dont think that your mum would want that either and i now that your mum would be so proud of you.........take care of yourself...

As a health worker u might have come across some very young children suffering from deadly diseases, so one gets confused if the Almighty God is ' the merciful ' then why these little children are suffering?
If u keep in ur mind that this world is not our real home but its an transient life, after this life we will transfer to another world which is our real home, where u find ' heaven' and ' hell ' both.
Some people were in heaven enjoying themselves where as some people will be suffering in the hell.
Why is that so?
Almighty God put us on trial or test , whoever gets qualified in this trial or test will go heaven and who are not will go to hell.
Almighty God says in the holy Quran'
Truly, the life of this world is nothing but a [quick passing] enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.'; [Qur'an, 40:39]
In another chapter He says:
';And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely with Allah is a mighty reward.'; [Qur'an 8:28]
as our possessions and children are for our test so the sufferings are also a kind of test.
if people who are sufferings think that this or that disease is a test from Almighty God and he or she bears it patiently he or she will gets a reward in the hearafter.
So one should not think that Almighty God is not merciful God . He cures some people whereas he doesnt cures other and gives their reward in a best wary in hearafter.

No rational explanation can explain the hurt humanity suffers. Maybe someday, in hind sight it'll all make sense.

But if there was no pain and suffering, then how would we learn to take care of each other -- to step outside of our self-absorbed bubbles and alleviate someone else's pain? It is we who do his work here on earth; we are his hands. He could -- and I believe he does -- mercifully mitigate suffering. But sometimes he does not. It begs the question, what would you do with your calling to care for the sick if there was no need? Would you move on to another area of healing and then rail at God for not fixing that, too? He *is* fixing things; one of the ways is through your hands and those of others like you. The problem is there aren't enough of you to go around.

This is highly unlikely. It helps to have a little food with your medications and after two hours the ice cream usually passes from your stomach into your intestines. Be careful if you are on birth control though some antibiotics can reduce their effectiveness.

I just made myself some sandwiches from ham that went off on the 27th of december, stupidly I didn't realise until I ate the whole packet of ham in four sandwiches!

if you get nauseted and start with stomach cramps try vomitting to get rid of it.....if it tasted fine then you should be okay.. there is a lot of nitrates in that stuff and some of it lasts way past the expiry date.... if you are worried, use your finger to bring it up and out....

I agree with the other comments, aslong as you didnt see any mould etc then the worst that could happen is a case of the runs. I would just drink plenty of water to flush you out just in case it turns your stomach.

Any platform, like iphone, facebook, windows, have special unique interfaces with programming, but they almost all use a programming language like java, C++, or something similar. This means you will have an edge.
Also, Apple, the maker of iPhone freely gives away a programming package that includes almost everything you need to make apps for iPhone. All you need is programming knowledge and the patience to do quite a bit of reading and figure out the rest.
